*Sigh*... Just as expected, Chinese New Year comes and goes. Everything goes back to normal now. Well… sort of… Still looking for a job ever since my company decided to relocate and close the office here.
Think the whole episode is affecting me lately too. Getting a bit restless with frustration settling in… Maybe from the stress and responsibilities of being the man of the house. That's the problem with typical Singaporean males. Came across a blog quite some time ago that question if youngsters too pampered and could matured fast enough. Here we are, happily idling around, dating your girlfriends and living off your parents. Once you got married, the whole world turns upside down. Now you have to take care of the family and make all the important decisions. I think many young Singaporeans are not prepared for the change (me included :P). The sudden weight of responsibilities may be too much for some. It is no surprise that many are not married and those who do often ends up divorce. It is because people are not prepared for marriage life. Why is this so? Are we not given enough time to stand up or we still live in a distorted reality?
