She`ll only come out at night, the lean and hungry type
Nothing is new I`ve seen her here before…Watching and waiting
Ooh, she`s sitting with you but her eyes are on the door
So many have paid to see what you think you`re getting for free
The woman is wild, a she-cat tamed by the purr of a jaguar
Money`s the matter, if you`re in it for love, you ain`t gonna get too far
(Oh oh, here she comes) watch out boy, she`ll chew you up
(Oh oh, here she comes) she`s a maneater
(Oh oh, here she comes) watch out boy, she`ll chew you up
(Oh oh, here she comes) she`s a maneater
The above song by Hall & Oates is the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the news that Ho Chin will not be stepping down. The excuse they gave is that "Chip" Goodyear views are different from Temasek Holdings.
If that is the case, why did they want to hire him in the first place? Are they saying that they did not ask him his views on how he will manage the billions of Singapore funds during the interview? Or is this all a cover up as there are no good posts in Singapore for the PM's wife and she is too powerful to remain as a housewife?
So, does this mean the buying high and selling low trend is back at Temasek Holdings?
